Disclosure: When I recommend something it is because I truly believe it will be useful to you. I want you to know that some of the links on this page are affiliate links. What that means is that if you click on the link and decide to purchase the resource, West Island Digital will earn a very small commission (at no extra cost to you).
I am a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for us to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites.
The West Island Digital website was built using the Wix platform. Wix gives you the ability to design and create your own website without having to learn to code anything. It is easy to learn how to use and you can create sites ranging from simple to complex, just by using the Wix "click and drag" tools. This powerful tool lets you add in SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) keywords and takes care of some of the hard work of getting your website found by the big search engines.
WordPress takes a little more set up and tech know how. With thousands of free and purchasable templates this platform is one of the most flexible in the industry and is used by some of the largest cooperation's in the world. There are also plenty of YouTube tutorials teaching you how to set up your WordPress step by step. REMEMBER, there are two different versions, wordprocess.com and wordpress.org.
